Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible Contract Administrator Engineer to join our team. The main duties will be to prepare, negotiate and review various contracts in relation to project site construction work.
A successful Contract Administrator Engineer will demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with the ability to discover potential risks for our company. He/she should also analyze contracts with an eye toward reducing costs and increasing profits, while ensuring compliance with the local and international law in consultation with the company legal advisor. Our ideal candidate has previous experience managing contracts and is familiar with legal requirements and terms of use.
Ultimately, he/she should ensure all our contracts for project site construction work conform to legislative requirements and meet our company goals.
Summary of Key Functions/Results Expected
v Negotiate contract terms with internal and external business partners;
v Review and update the existing contracts;
v Explain terms and conditions to managers and interested parties;
v Ensure that the concerned parties understand and comply with the company contracts;
v Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms;
v Stay up-to date with legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed.
v Ensures all the deadlines and conditions described on the contracts are met ( E.g:- payments and shipping);
v Maintain organized system of physical and digital record;
v Create language standards for existing and new contracts;
v Manage other paper works about the project and cooperate anytime with project manager;
v Prepare bidding documents;
v Conduct construction cost analysis;
v And any other order from immediate supervisor/manager;
v Work experience as a contract administrator engineer or relevant related role;
v Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts;
v Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors;
v Strong analytical and organizational skills;
v Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staffs, managers and external partners;
v BA degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering Management; additional qualification in law is a plus.
