SUPERVISOR: Senior Immunization Program Officer (SIPO)
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
Reach Every District with Quality Improvement (RED-QI) Advisor will provide overall guidance to implement RED-QI in relation to routine immunization as well as broader family health services. S/he promotes the use of scalable and doable quality improvement methodologies that seek to improve the efficiency, breadth and coverage of the routine immunization system at all levels. S/he helps to build the capacity of the staff to implement the RED-QI approach; RED-QI Advisor will work to strengthen UI-FHS staff’s ability to coach on QI during process based supportive supervision (PBSS). The RED-QI Advisor will also focus on documentation of PDSA cycles and use of other QI to tools in an effort to better understand how the PDSA process is being understood and utilized in the various program contexts. The RED-QI advisor will work closely with the SIPO, Regional Advisor, and other team members to coordinate and monitor the progress of RED-QI. S/he supports the regional staff to facilitate RED-QI trainings. The RED-QI advisor serves as liaison for the regional and national level for QI dialogue on quality service delivery. S/he oversees the review of RED-QI approaches and the implementation to continually seek ways to improve, strengthen, innovate, and “lighten” RED-QI.
S/he will work under the direct supervision of UI-FHS SIPO and will also work in close collaboration with Technical Director, Regional Advisor (RA), ME&L Advisor, other team members and field staff.
