- General Assignment: To develop the skills of the organization and project nutrition staff in conducting access and coverage survey using Semi Qualitative Evaluation of Access and Coverage (SQUEAC) methodology.
- To evaluate access and coverage of Community Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) programmes using SQUEAC methodology in Tullo Woreda of West Hararghe zone.
DutiesandResponsibilities:
1: To achieve the above-mentioned objective, the consultant will undertake the following:
The proposed field work in the woreda will last for 18 days (including training and technical support) and three days for report compilation and a total of 23 days including travel days.

2. TECHNICAL AND COORDINATION FOCAL POINT
The consultant is expected to report to nutrition and health technical advisor and DNHTA and field coordinator,
3. CONDITIONS OF WORK –
- The consultant will be based in Abergelle Woreda, found in Wag Himra zone with travel around the rural kebele centre for data collection. AAH will support and facilitate the consultant’s travel from Addis Ababa to Tullo and within Woreda as well as all the administrative, logistics, and security related issues of the consultancy.
- The consultant will be required to abide by the AAH security procedures and Child Protection Policy of AAH.
- All raw data collected will remain the property of AAH.
4. PAYMENT MODALITIES
Payment will be delivered based on the agreed scale once the consultant performs all the expected responsibility based on the proposed timeframe.
5. FORCE MAJEURE
The consultant and organisation may agree to reschedule or alter some tasks in the organisation, if unforeseen circumstances arise. In the event organisation is not satisfied with the work produced by the consultant, they may opt to terminate the contract on mutually agreeable terms. Likewise, if the consultant is unhappy with new conditions given by its client, she/he may opt to withdraw on mutually agreeable terms.
Qualification/Level of studies: The consultant should have the following expected experience:
- Intense experiences in conducting Nutrition surveys as per SMART methodology,
- Appropriate knowledge and experience on nutrition with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in implementing nutrition interventions and survey,
