Job Title: Area Manager (National Position)

Job Based at: Melkadida with travel to Camps
Being an employee of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) in Ethiopia Programme Manager is expected to represent NRC in a responsible manner and always act in accordance with NRC’s Code of Conduct.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The purpose of the Area Manager position is to ensure high quality and cost effective programme/project implementation within the designated geographical area. The Area manager has the responsibility to ensure that NRC´s programme in the Area develops in line with NRC’s mandate, policies and country specific strategies.

· Relevant university qualifications preferably at post-graduate level
· Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager in a humanitarian/recovery context
