About the project
JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. seeks to recruit health information system professionals, as well as finance and administrative staff for its Data Use Project (DUP).The goal of the project is to improve collection and use of high-quality routine information; improve the quality, efficiency, and availability of primary health, and nutrition services at all levels of the Ethiopian health system. JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI) is a public health management consulting and research organization dedicated to improving the health of individuals and communities throughout the world.
Summary of Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Finance, Administrative & Operation Director the DUP Finance/Program Assistant provides submission project official letters to different offices, follow and collect bank advises, prepare, submit- & collect staff health insurance claims, copy & DHL the project finance documents to home office, prepare and pay per diem for participants for the project’s sponsored events as necessary. The Program Assistant is expected to work closely with Finance & Accounting Officer and Project Coordinator.
Specific Responsibilities
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Management, Management, or other relevant fields.
Experience
Two years’ relevant professional experience in program logistic, management, and accounting.
Ability to work independently, solve problems and show excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member
Language Proficiency
Good knowledge (spoken and written) of English and Amharic languages;
Computer Proficiency
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet, and email.
