· Coordinating the Natural Resource Management focused project activities in Sidama Zone and the work of field officers under his/her supervision.
· Assist the Project manager in overall project management including administrative and field level implementation.
· Explains the intended impact of the project, so all members of the team are able to well articulate it to all stakeholders
· Request and use technical advice and orientations from PIN Ethiopia colleagues and advisors
· Assess the capacities of field officers and propose topics for trainings, further education and knowledge improvement
· Identify and communicate best practices in project implementation
· Assist project team in activity development plan
· Plan, request and follow up purchase and delivery of materials (in collaboration with PjM and procurement and logistics)
· Distribution of donated materials and supports to users or beneficiaries
· Facilitate different community meetings, campaigns and events in collaboration with community workers and governmental representatives
· Conduct beneficiary selection based on set criteria in collaboration with field officers and project stakeholders
· BSc. degree in Natural resource Management, Agriculture, Agro engineering, plant science, Forestry and other similar fields of study
· Minimum of 4 years work experience in the sector and minimum of 2 years relevant working experiences on NRM and Nursery management
· INGO experiences is advantageous,
· Excellent planning and organizational skills,
· Very good communicative skills with local stakeholders and project beneficiaries,
· Ability to work independently and with team,
· Excellent knowledge of spoken & written Amharic and English
