Future Hopes Integrated Development organization/FHIDO/ formerly known as Arada Child and family charitable society/FHIDO/ is an indigenous, non-governmental, non-profit, secular, legally registered Ethiopian resident charity working to building self-reliant and self-sufficient generation in Ethiopia through comprehensive and sustainable development approach. FHIDO implementing different development programs to change the wellbeing of deprived, excluded and vulnerable children and youths found in its operational areas and ensured the sustainable resilience to take part in the social, economic and political activities of their communities. Since 1986 to 2010 FHIDO has been known as area coordination office of the then Christian Children Fund (CCF).
After July 2010 FHIDO was reregistered as Ethiopian resident charity and operational in the ten districts of Arada sub-city in four core programmatic areas namely, Early Childhood Development (ECD), Basic Education, and Youth Development projects. FHIDO is currently looking for competent, qualified and interested applicants for FHIDO, USAID Caring for Vulnerable Children activities that will be implemented in partnership with FHI360 on the following position.
The incumbent will be responsible for planning, implementing, supervising appropriate ES interventions that strengthen OVC Households. S/he will be responsible for promoting livelihoods development for OVC caregivers and adolescents, including Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs), vocational skills training, business development services, microenterprise development, financial capability.
