Prepare financial statement (e.g. P&L, Balance sheets, etc.) in accordance with the relevant country and company requirements
Coordinate internal and external financial and tax audits and follow up with the audits to ensure compliance of the financial activities of the Factory
Create cash flow forecast to determine level of cash needed.
Propose to the Managing Director on how to handle excess cash.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR) in accordance to company policy.
Plan the timing and type of financial activities to ensure the Factory is tax efficient
Ensure taxes are reported and paid in accordance to the country specific requirements
Manage insurance to ensure the company has sufficient protection against risks
Additional Responsibilities:
Financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting
Financial analysis and able to provide insights
Financial simulations and scenario planning
Advanced Excel
Working well with business partners and management team to drive the performance of the factory
Good communication skills
Job Requirement
Qualification and Experience:
A professional accounting degree, ACCA or a University Accounting degree ( ie a major in Accounting)
Post-graduation is preferable,
10 years of experience in where 4 years in external audit firm (International). A reputable local audit firm in Ethiopia is acceptable.
A few years in commercial or manufacturing environment with some managerial experience
