Ensure the implementation of the project is done in accordance with the terms and conditions specified by the donor;
Check and validate existing spatial data from different sources together (spatial files, administrative units, GPS measurements, tabular data such as statistical records etc.)
Leading field data collection with GPS devises (Garmin) in field data collection and verification
Successful implementation of all stages of the project’s cycle, including M&E, budget and procurement management.
Adhering to PIN, government and donors’ policies.
Internal and external reporting
Experience working with BOFED, TVET Bureau and TVET Colleges and different level water bureaus
Ensure an excellent working relationship with partners, local government and communities
Coordinate and build the capacity of field coordinator and/or officers
Job Requirement
Minimum BA/BSC or further qualification in water resource Management, Geographic Information System(GIS), Hydraulics, water supply and environmental engineering, or other related fields of study.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in project management
Experience in water scheme management
Experience of managing teams, strong coordination skills
Strong experience with PCM, ability to meet deadlines
Basic knowledge of ICT (information, communication, technology) and Io T (Internet of Things)
Intermediate knowledge and usage of Google Earth
Basic knowledge of ArcGIS platform (or Quantum GIS)
Excellent written communication skills and ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.)
Strong organizational and project management skills, and ability to deliver within tight deadlines
Excellent knowledge of spoken & written Amharic and English.
