POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATION
· The HR Manager reports hierarchically to the Operations Director
· The position manages HR Coordinator & HR Officers.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for the development of HR Polices and design the strategies of the department in alignment of the corporate Strategy and field office strategies. Responsible for the overall performance of the Human Resources department.
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Result #1 – Provide leadership in the areas of HR to the field Office
1. Advises the Programs directors and department directors in matters related to HR & OD
2. Plans and manages human resource management and organizational development functions of the field office;
3. Represents the field office HR Function globally and creates networking in relation to human resources;
4. Closely work with FHE Leadership team to ensure that standards of good practice in management are met for all Departments.
Key Result #1 – responsible for the recruitment and selection process of the organization.
1. Prepares effective organizational staffing plan and work with departments for timely recruitment.
2. Build a strong networking with other NGO’s /Professional associations/ recruiting agencies to strengthen the organization’s pool of qualified candidates.
3. Supervise and ensure that national employment contracts and staff movements are handled according to the organizational policies and procedures
4. Advises programs in the recruitment process and other HR functions.
Key Result #2 – Develop and manage sound benefit & data administration system.
Key Result #3 – Manage the performance Management & employee relations of the Field Office.
Key Result #4 – Staff Capacity Building.
