· The Business Development Manager is responsible for performance tracking, primary market research, business and competitive intelligence.
· Designs actionable marketing research on targeted products/services/customers and identify business and research objectives; designs appropriate research methodology; analyzes data; develops and presents actionable recommendations.
· Conducts marketing research to identify market needs through primary methods such as surveys, in-depth interviews and focus groups, and through secondary research.
· Manage all aspects of qualitative and quantitative consumer research for products and services including research regarding product/service awareness, positioning, benefits, marketing communications and site usability.
· Identify and determine the scope of marketing research needs, including secondary research and research design/implementation
· Analyze research and develop reports summarizing key findings and making related recommendations and writes formal marketing research reports.
· Presents marketing research recommendations to chief product and service development officer and other work units.
· Gathers all pertinent data, statistics, and market information to determine market penetration and potential, competitive strategies, consumer attitudes and preferences, and product/service life cycle strategies on a global basis.
· Performs market share analyses using internal and external data sources to predict relative corporate market positions for various product lines.
· Coordinates relationships with market research consultants.
· Creates tracking program to monitor market landscape, brand performance as well as identifies issues using appropriate data sources.
· Quantifies sales potential, assesses market landscape, evaluates current and future competitors, predicts market trends and identify potential opportunities and risks.
· Evaluates the performance of employees under his/him direct supervision.
Prepares and submits periodic report to the Chief Product and Service Development Officer and undertakes other duties as assigned by him/her
Education: Bachelor’s in Business related Degree
Experience: A minimum of 6 years’ similar experience
