Involve in both the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage to fulfill the company’s policies and goals.
Monitoring (adjusting) the production process, monitoring product standards as set by the company, preparing a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually production schedule based on the available fruit and adjusting where necessary; ensuring the production is cost effective; making sure that products are produced on time (according to production planning) and meet the companies quality standard.
Supervising and motivating a team of workers(Operators, sorters, fruit feeders, solid waste unloaders feeders, crate washers and cleaning crew, etc) to ensure (food) safety, (product) quality, productivity, efficiency internal production protocols, hygiene etc.
Managing the company’s production and internal logistic processes as well as material in-and-out flows. Monitors usage of materials, utilities, and personnel etc to ensure efficiency of operations.
Receive the required raw materials and chemicals (fruit, drum, aseptic bag, polyethylene liner, caustic soda, chlorine, etc) and control and record the actual consumption and report to the production manager periodically.
Deliver finished product to the output and warehouse supervisor and segregate non- conform (Hold, burned, underweight, washed out, etc) products and take corrective action.
Implement existing production protocols and systems and makes adjustments when necessary to produce good quality Juice (Puree) within specifications (Brix, Acidity, PH, Black, Brown and white spot, etc)
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually report of the production activities.
Maintaining and improving the FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (HACCP) within the company through the involvement of all employees to meet international food safety regulations and other production protocols.
Assists in developing, updating and maintaining procedures and documentation for food safety management system.
Recommends (and implements) improvements of facilities, equipment, procedures etc to improve (food) safety, (product) quality, efficiency, hygiene etc.
Oversees cleaning and sanitation of machineries and facilities. Supervises and trains sanitation staff in frequency and method of cleaning. Keep the document.
Ensures employees are trained to do their respective jobs in a sage and efficient manner. Their training is documented.
Administration duties which include time and attendance control, holiday planning, extended hour processing, working out the human and material resources needed.
Responsible for achieving immediate and short-term objectives laid down by senior management (i.e. output, quality, waste, yield, safety, labor cost, etc).
Controls and improves effective use of the production team (operators, etc) and their performance as a team.
Re-scheduling tasks, human resource planning and/or production, control efficient and effective utilization of material and human resources.
Responsible for equipment maintenance supervision; undertake technical decisions on a regular basis to reduce bottlenecks in production, and ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
Supervising and motivating the factories production team, identifying training needs and setting up training schedules and activities accordingly. Plans and/or conducts training for new and/or existing employees.
Personnel management lower and higher level (assist processing plant manager in hiring, job description specifications, performance and control, training, evaluations, job rotation etc)
Overall strict supervision of factory workers, operators etc) in hygiene, job responsibility, following work regulations (including but not limited to) glass policy, mobile policy etcetera.
Adhere to health and safety standard of the company(overall, caps, ear muffs, Google, safety shoes, etc)
Ensure production staff are communicated and understand company policy and procedure.
Carry out duties related to food safety systems.
Carry out other relevant related tasks assigned by production manager.
Job Requirement
Education
BSC Degree in Food Processing Technology, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, Food Science & Nutrition, Applied Chemistry or Biology or Related field
Experience:
2 years in any Beverage, soft drinks or juice industry is preferable
