IT Standards, Policies & Procedures - Supports the development of corporate JTI IT technology and methodology standards in the area of Technical Infrastructure & Customer support (including technology platform selection, best practices in infrastructure development and customer support, project management, etc.). - Assists to ensure user awareness of IT policies and procedure and monitor compliance. | ||||||||||||
IT Asset Management - IT Asset Management: Manages, reports and tracks IT inventory (Update Asset register regularly), renewals/disposals and licenses for software and hardware products (Servers, Computers, Computer Accessories, Printers and other peripherals) - Supports NTE IT team for planning and execution of the IT budgets with JTI standards (for Technical Infrastructure and Customer Services) and any budget adjustments. - Provide support for optimization, controlling and reducing costs when and where possible to improve Market/Factory efficiency and profitability in line with Business & IT Strategies and agreed financial constraints. | ||||||||||||
IT Platform - Networking and IP Telephony Support | ||||||||||||
- Works closely with team member and direct supervisor, Global IT technical pillars to identify improvement areas in networking, network security, local area network cabling and segmentation, firewall installation, IP Telephony implementation and support, etc. - Supports the implementation and strict adherence to recommended JTI IT standards. | ||||||||||||
IT Platform - Data Center Environment - Works closely with direct supervisor to identify improvement areas in data center, server maintenance, file & app server management, access permissions, security patch/anti-virus management, data backup handling - Supports and monitor NTE IT team to implement/apply identified/recommended JTI standards | ||||||||||||
IT Platform - Workplace Environment - Works closely with direct supervisor to identify improvement areas for client platform, desktop/laptop refresh/upgrade, domain authentication, access permissions, e-mail usage, security patch/anti-virus management, data security, etc. - Supports and monitor NTE IT team to implement/apply identified/recommended JTI standards. | ||||||||||||
Business Solutions - Works closely with direct supervisor and NTE IT team to assess IT solutions/automations needed in M&S and GSC areas. - Seeks and recommends JTI aligned solutions for business operations, supports in preparing budgetary figures -Participate in vendor and solution selections. | ||||||||||||
