Médecins Sans Frontières (also known as Doctors without Borders or MSF) is a private, non-profit, international humanitarian medical organization that intervenes in emergencies and crisis situations to relieve human suffering resulting from unmet medical needs. MSF-Holland in Ethiopia currently operates in five projects (North Gonder, Abdurafi project, in Tigray-Hitatse project, in Somali region- Wardher project, in Gambella region; Kule and Nguenyyiel project with diversified workforce.
MAIN PURPOSE/JOB SUMMARY:
· Serve as a liaison for all court cases and court filing, legal documents/papers, notifications and performing basic office duties. |
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Context and Representation 1. Assist the Deputy/HoM in the context analysis, disseminate relevant context information to the coordination team, regularly inform them on key issues, update general information on the context for MSF internal documents, and advise on cultural appropriateness of organizational activities and individual behaviors. 2. Keep good knowledge of counterparts in different administrations and file field contacts (other NGO’s, UN agencies, local authorities…) verifying that they are easily accessible in order to facilitate contacts and meetings.
5. Ensure the follow up of relevant administrative dossiers such as the MSF registration in the region when applicable or any relevant administrative requirement. 6. At the request of the Deputy/HoM, prepare and conduct an information briefing focusing on the country context for International, Regional and Relocated Staff.

Requirements:- | |
Education | · University Law Degree/Lawyer profile |
Experience | · Minimum 2 years of experience dealing with court related issues, preferably working for humanitarian aid actors. Essential, good understanding of the functioning of the different Courts instances and Regional Government bodies. |
Languages | · English language essential, Amharic language essential |
Knowledge | · Essential Computer Literacy (word, excel, power point, email) |
