Teams in the field combat hunger on 4 fronts: Nutrition and Health, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Water, Sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and Mental Health and Care Practices (MHCP).
For our MHCP department in Waghimra - Sekota, we are currently looking for the following professional:
Mental Health, Care Practices, Gender and Protection Program Manager
General Assignment: The program manager will be responsible for the implementation, improvement and monitoring of the Mental Health, Care Practices, Gender and Protection program and the team supervision in the IDP sites and host community setting of Somali. In addition, they will be responsible for analysis, monitoring & reporting of mental health, childcare practices, Gender, protection needs and activities. They will work closely with the other program managers (especially with Nutrition, WASH & FSL) to deliver the contracted services in the nominated settings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Objective 1: Implementation and monitoring of all Mental Health, Care Practice, Gender and Protection activities in Waghimra through outreach and psychologically Informed Environments (PIE) or Baby Friendly Spaces (BFS) approaches
Objective 2: Management of the project team
Objective 3: Coordination
Objective 4: Logistics and administrative management for the program
Objective 5: Reports and capitalization of the project
