Senselet is a Dutch-owned company making potato-based snacks and food products for the Ethiopian market and aims to become a leading food processing company. Currently, our modern processing facility, using the latest European processing technology, is located in Tulofa (65 km from Addis Ababa).
Targets and deliverables
Acquisition of customers (supermarkets, minimarkets, souks, agents, other) as per company targets
Acquisition of market share upcountry and turnover as per company targets.
Maintaining relations with existing key accounts (in-store placement, promotions, etc.)
Execution of marketing activities (campaigns, promotions, social media, etc.) upcountry
Reporting of marketing & sales performance
Contribute to development of knowledge base regarding market trends and developments, consumers, retailers, distributors, competitors, etc.
Manage, monitor and maintain relationships with Senselet’s distributors
Organizational structure
Reporting to: General Manager.
Working closely together with: Distributors, sales administrator, sales agents.
Job Requirement
Requirements
Education: Degree on marketing & Sales and related field
Experience: minimum 3 years of relevant work experience for a private organization in a sales role, preferably in FMCG sector (food, snacks, beverages), preferably with retailers as customers. Candidates with proven experience of customer acquisition and account management are preferred.
Technical skills: good in Amharic and basic in English (speaking and writing), strong communications skills, driving license, creative skills, good planning skills.
Social skills: capable to acquire and convince (new) customers; good in developing and maintaining professional relations with customers; good networker; serious and hard-working; high likeability; eager to learn, good feedback mentality; good negotiation skills.
Entrepreneurial skills: flexible and autonomous worker, high-energy.
