The Fit-for-Work (FFW) Project Officer is responsible for all FFW-related project activities and deliverables. This role will work closely with MSIE area program managers and social franchise officers, support office FFW manager and social franchise team, manufacturing industries Human Resource Units and Clinic Heads, and other key government and private stakeholders to ensure the attainment of the FFW project goals and objectives. This role has a focus on ensuring that the project deliverables are met on time, that manufacturing industries outputs are of a high standard and meet the demands of internal and external stakeholders and are used to improve women employee health and women empowerment at large. It is particularly important that the post holder can collaborate with Area Program staff in providing regular support and monitoring, so that project deliverables remain a focus of operational activities.

Marie Stopes International Ethiopia (MSIE), a partner of the MSI, is currently undertaking a dramatic scale-up of health service delivery for low income women and couples in Ethiopia. This includes expanding clinics and rural outreach programs in to new regions of Ethiopia; creating social franchising networks of other private quality service providers. MSIE also extends service provision through work places. The work place program under the Fit-for-Work brand is an innovative program targeting employees of big size companies or corporations, both private and government.
MSIE financed by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands is implementing FFW project in 7 regions and 2 administrative cities. FFW project aims to increase women’s access to high-quality private sector SRH services to support scalable and integrated solutions that will build upon and evolve MSIE’s work with private healthcare providers and private sector companies. The project targets vulnerable and underserved-young women and men- found in the workplaces of large manufacturing industries.
