Splash is an international charitable organization headquartered in Seattle, WA, founded in 2007. Our mission is simple: “We clean water for kids.” Small, young, and growing, Splash is in a unique position to be groundbreaking in the global health and WASH sectors, able to try new approaches to address the needs of urban kids. In ten years, we have brought and continue to ensure safe drinking water to over 400,000 children in cities around the world.
Splash is pursuing funding to reach 100% of government schools in Addis Ababa with full WASH coverage by the end of 2023.

Position Overview
Splash’s Project Implementation team is responsible for executing site engagement and behavior change activities at school sites based on established program standards. As critical members of this team, Project Officers are key liaisons between school partners and Splash – they are a school’s first point of contact at Splash and manage school relationships throughout the entire lifecycle of Splash’s support. Key responsibilities include working with schools to clearly communicate Splash’s model, identifying and documenting school contributions, conducting behavior change activities for school staff and students, and helping schools ensure that WASH interventions last long-term. Project Officers are also responsible for closely tracking and adhering to project workplans and ensuring proper sequencing of all school-based activities, as well as documenting and recording details about Splash work at each site.
The Project Officer is responsible for directly managing site engagement and behavior change activities for a small subset of schools. She or he will work regularly with the Behavior Change team as well as other team members in Ethiopia and Seattle.
