Position Overview
The I.T. Assistant is responsible for providing functional and technical system support for Splash’s Addis Ababa, Ethiopia office. This individual will work to support our technology hardware and software tools and applications and will partner with the Technology Team in Seattle, WA and in office team members. The Technology Assistant will be involved in helping to test, document, and release system solutions to meet business requirements.

Assistant is the perfect job for someone who loves using technology to support more effective and efficient teams, looks for ways to effectively improve processes to manage hardware and software solutions including an office network, and enjoys providing support such as managing office and team member hardware and software solutions, troubleshooting user issues, and providing training and tips to others when needed.
Roles and Responsibilities
An IT Assistant's duties include configuring hardware and software, setting up peripherals such as printers or routers, repairing equipment, and providing daily support for computer hardware, software, and network end users. Will work closely with the Technology Team based in Seattle and other internal partners to help drive technology solutions and support office operations.

Education & Experience
A qualified candidate must have highly competent technology skills and at least two year of experience supporting office technology systems and processes as well as demonstrated aptitude for working with data and learning new technologies. Has experience troubleshooting Widows operations systems and applications such as Office 365. Excellent organizational and communication skills, project coordination, and attention to detail are essential. Tech savvy and creative in solving technology issues, and able to communicate, balance and prioritize user requests. Candidate is also proficient in the English language.
