In Ethiopia, key areas of its work are saving life and livelihood through humanitarian interventions and resilience building of vulnerable communities including refugees. General Position Summary
In cooperation with the senior management team the Head of Finance and Administration (HFA) has the overall responsibility to secure that funds entrusted to the DCA Country Office are handled in a transparent, efficient and effective manner. The HFA has the responsibility for DCA’s financial management of programmes, projects and office running costs.
The HFA is responsible for and supervising the human resource management of the Country Office and partly responsible for managing relations and meeting requirements of donors and of Government of Ethiopia and of ChSA in particular.
The HFA is a member of the senior management team at the DCA Ethiopia Office and has to contribute to the further strategic development of the programme. The HFA has responsibility for management of the finance team and secure that manuals, formats, procedures, systems are known and used correctly.
