INTRODUCTION
Link Community Development International (Link International) was established in 1989 as Link Community Development and is one of a family of partner organizations working to improve the quality of education in rural schools across sub-Saharan Africa so that children and their communities have better life opportunities.
Link International works at all levels of the education system – with communities, schools and governments – to identify and remove the obstacles to quality education. We work with our partner organizations to improve schools and the quality of education they deliver; to build the capacity of district departments of education; and to support government education policy and inform national and regional strategies
JOB PURPOSE
Under the supervision of the Programme Manager, the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Senior Coordinator has overall responsibility for the management of all monitoring, evaluation and learning activities in LCDE. The MERL Senior Coordinator ensures that STAGES has a robust MERL system that is in synchronicity with the GEC Fund Manager’s requirements and LCDI’s group-wide indicators and evaluation principles. S/he ensures that there is a reliable, up-to-date database of accurate programme information and is responsible for the timely and accurate production of all internal project monitoring and evaluation reports. S/he is also responsible for collating qualitative data into thematic learning papers, writing program reports and for developing case studies.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
o Five (5) years of relevant experience preferable in INGO context working at Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning role for Child Protection, Gender, Social Inclusion, Education and related Projects.
o Five (5) years prior experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research in field-based positions
