Key Tasks of The Woreda Social Accountability Coordinator:
Based on "Ethiopian Social Accountability Programme-3(ESAP3) for scaling grantees", prepare action and budget and submit to EOC-DICAC coordination office and head office. She/he shall manage the woreda project budget — after approval by EOC-DICAC head office, implement the plan as per the Management Agency(MA) guidelines;
She/He take the initiative to coordinate social mapping, training, woreda interface meetings and other SA activities with the EOC-DICAC ESAP3 project coordinator, the gender and social inclusion expert, and the M&E officer, who co-facilitate some of these activities;
She/He support the woreda and kebele SACs to organize, lead and facilitate the social accountability process with citizen groups, service providers and woreda officials;
She/He facilitate monthly review meetings with the social accountability committee, and plan joint monitoring and technical support trips with the woreda SAC; She/He facilitate bi-annual stakeholder review meetings, in collaboration with EOC-DICAC ESAP3 project coordinator and EOC-DICAC coordination office;
She/He fill the mobile M&E formats at the end of each activity and request access to data about her/his woreda(s) from the M&E officer;
Required Qualification: Diploma/BSC Degree in sociology or related fields.
Required Skill:
At least 1 year experience social accountability or related fields
Gender and/or social inclusion expertise is a bonus
Strong training and facilitation skill
Strong determination to work for gender equality and social inclusion Good networker — active on social media
Willingness to spend significant time in the kebeles
Required Number: 2 (Two)
Terms of employment: contract for one year (possibility of renewal upon performance).
