Job Purpose:
To input data from various paper based sources into excel tracking templates on a daily basis. The Data input clerk will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording of this data and producing reports as required.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
· Insert data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents.
· Compile, verify accuracy and sort information to prepare source data for data entry
· Review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output
· Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
· Apply data program techniques and procedures
· Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations
· Locate and correct data entry errors, on reports
· Documentation and share with key stake holder
· Produce monthly reports from the data entered
· Develop automation of data reports
· Scan documents and print files, when necessary
· Keep information confidential
· Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
· Comply with data integrity and security policies

· Diploma in information technology or relevant disciplines.
· Minimum 2-year experience in data entry, management and documentation.
· Proven data entry work experience, as a Data entry operator or office clerk, solid data entry skills.
· Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft excel, and word.
· Familiarity with administrative duties.
· Experience using office equipment, fax machine and scanner.
· Typing speed and accuracy.
· Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Confidentiality.
· Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.
· Excellent English language written and verbal communication.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks.
