Association for National Planned Program for Vulnerable Children And in Need (ANPPCAN) - Ethiopia was established in 1990 and registered under the Agency of Civil Societies Organizations with registration number 0385. It is a child protection organization works in different parts of the country in collaboration with donor and government partners. ANPPCAN-Ethiopia is looking for well experienced and committed Finance Officer who is responsible for the management of grants received from different donor partners.
As per the financial recording and financial information system, journalizes and post transactions. Close all financial accounts monthly; ensure that the accounting system follows the right order and the financial regulation of ANPPCAN-Ethiopia; Prepare financial statements periodically. Conduct major accounting duties specified in the Financial Management Manual of the organization.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Requirement
Qualification: Graduate from a recognized university with BA/Ma Degree in Accounting/Finance with good computer skills and Peachtree knowledge.
Experience: At least 4/6 years for MA and BA respectively; of which two years must be NGO experience.
Terms of employment: One year contract with possible extension
