Major Responsibilities:
Prepares the training plan for all the staff, revises and updates the training plan, and conducts some of the training modules.
Revises and updates all the training modules in accordance with the changes in policies and procedures, as well as the best practices in the industry.
Acts as custodian of all the training modules
Provides the HR & General Services manager the yearly training plan and estimated expenses for all the training activities
Identifies and continually develops trainers for each field (Operations, Finance and accounts, Internal Audit, MIS/ IT, HR, Admin, and branches)
Develops new training modules, if necessary.
S/He is responsible for making sure that all the staff receives complete training
Ensures the availability of training equipment and venue for the scheduled training
Ensures that all new, re-assigned, and promoted staff receive adequate training from the training unit, or if necessary from external trainers or training providers
Ensures that the staff under MIS/IT, HR, and Finance/Admin departments receive the necessary on-the-job coaching from their respective supervisors
Renders on-the-job coaching for new credit officers;
Coordinates with the HR & General Services Manager in identifying the training needs of the staff
Conducts periodic staff training needs analysis; coordinates staff training events and courses with the latter;
Evaluates all training delivered and makes changes in training where appropriate
Qualification, Skill and Experience:
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
University degree in Management/psychology/education/or any relevant pedagogical fields.
At least 8 years experience in relevant positions.
Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team
Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of rectitude
Ready to comply and live up to and in accordance with the organization Ideals and Core Values
Be proficient in MicroSoft office applications
Good knowledge in economic and financial topics
Be a good trainer, facilitator, mentor, and coach
Very good communication and marketing skills
