Safety Officer

Responsibilities:

• Presence on-site for HSE Monitoring and Control,

• Pre-shift inspections / Job Safety Analysis (JSA) / Tool Box Talk (TBT), all documented and reported,

• Conduct HSE inspections/audits and make reports,

• Hazard identification and Risk Assessments,

• Implementing preventive HSE Measures,

• Conduct accident investigations and prepare reports,

• Ensuring compliance with Emergency response and planning. Conduct emergency drills and prepare reports,

• Must be willing to work shifts, overtime, public holidays and Sundays when necessary,

• NEBOSH International General Certificate, or comparable, and/or B.Sc. in Civil/hydraulics Engineering, 

• > 2 years of relevant work experience in HSE (Construction/Mechanical/Industrial),

• Good communication skills,

• Good English skills, spoken and written,
• Good cultural awareness and sensitivity,

• Good computer skills and knowledge about the most common Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel),
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline,
•  Strong in handling insecure environment, planing and delivering results, empowering and building trust, communicating with impact and respect.
