Developing intelligence: Under the guidance of the MENEAT AIT Director responsible for enhancing and developing relationships with law enforcement and JTI Markets. Identify, recruit and manage Service Providers (SPs) in a manner consistent with all legal requirements and JTI Policy and Procedures ;
Law enforcement liaison (LE): Support AITO Regional Teams efforts to impact on the smuggling of JT Group brands as well as any illicit sales of diverted genuine products within or outside the MENEAT region. This will include supporting and working with DSI, developing and directing investigations through SPs, setting clear objectives to identify quality information to share with LE and report on feedback. Organize anti illicit trade training (in-country and at Trier) for Customs and other law enforcement Agencies. There will be a particular emphasis on liaison with Ethiopian Law Enforcement and developing and managing these relationships;
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports/updates on the progression of core objectives, including diversion of tobacco products monthly reviews, trend analysis and operational activities. An essential requirement will be the preparation of investigation reports to support the Regional AIT DSI enquirers. Present orally to audiences within and outside of the company to demonstrate and explain AITO strategies and activities. ;
Internal relationships: Work in close cooperation with all AITO Departments particularly, Regional MENEAT Managers and Director. Maintain and develop excellent relationships with local Ethiopian Management, and all Departments in the company to support local and regional management and enhance AITO reputation. Manage and develop an existing small local team of AIT investigators, ensuring compliance to all JTI procedures and reporting;
Budgeting: Efficiently and effectively manage financial expenditure. Undertake robust financial planning and control and meet reporting obligations;
