Background
The Millennium Water Alliance (MWA) is a permanent coalition of leading humanitarian and private organizations that convenes, integrates, and influences critical players in the business, technology, government and NGO sectors to supply safe drinking water and sanitation (WASH) to millions of the world’s poorest people in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Founded in 2002, MWA tests, innovates and scales effective and sustainable solutions towards this goal.
PURPOSE
The Project Coordinator will work closely with the MWA Ethiopia team, the MWA Global team and implementing partners to implement the Sustainable WASH Project (SWP) led by MWA and funded by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation through 2024 in Ethiopia. This position will be located in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia, with extensive work across the Amhara region, specifically in Dera, Farta and North Mecha woredas. The main activities of this position are to coordinate the project work in the region and support monitoring and documentation of activities, changes, challenges and learnings.
