The main purpose for the job is to carry out development of business at the branch into high level performance through proper supervision and maintenance of a healthy portfolio of clients.
Job Summary:
The role involves working to manage operations, develop business and increase profitability for the company.
Duties and responsibilities:
Helps to develop and implement marketing plans for products being offered
Champion the sales and marketing of the company’s product
Offer and provide technical assistance as and when required
Local point of contact for all affairs of the company between Ethiopia and global office
Approaching the constructors, the projects and the woodwork / furniture manufacturer to find out their requests and needs.
Consulting the client for any technical problem and propose them the right technical solution.
Making an offer for the Ethiopia clients on the ground of our data base of the Germany Company.
Following up the sample sending for the clients by cargo and courier
Communication with the product manager from head office in Germany/Djibouti
Creating orders and follow up the import docs and the shipment with head office in Germany / Djibouti
Planning the client visits and the workshops and training of the section in Ethiopia.
Client Relationship and Business Development with Key Clients
Ensure growth in volume of the Portfolio
Liaison with the stakeholders/relationship management
Promote the company’s corporate image
Ensure periodic reports are submitted to the global office
Perform any other duty as may be assigned/directed by management from time to time
Participating in the local Expo and presenting the company and fish for clients and projects.
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience in wood architectural, technical and interior designing roles is much preferable
At least 5 years working experience in wood manufacturing industry in a similar role
Excellent Communication skill
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications
Very good business development, marketing and operation skill
