Overview
Strengthening Host and Refugee Populations in Ethiopia (SHARPE) aims to increase livelihoods opportunities for refugees and host communities using the market systems approach. SHARPE will operate in 3 locations in Ethiopia, Jijiga, Dolo Ado and Gambella, with a coordinating office in Addis. The programme is expected to last for 3.5 years.
Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to the MEL Lead, the CMEL Manager will be responsible for a range of communications and MEL tasks. On MEL, the Manager will be responsible for collecting baseline data, ensuring indicator data is regularly collected, analyzed, and reported, conducting field monitoring visits (including data audits), knowledge management, and organizing internal and external learning events. On communications, the Manager will be responsible for producing a variety of communication materials, such as success stories for DFID, web stories, fact sheets, visibility items, photography projects, and others.
The CMEL Manager will work closely with the Deputy Team Leader, Portfolio Lead, and Hub Leads. The CMEL Manager reports to the MEL Lead.
