Job Summary:
The Program officer under the supervision of the Acting Regional Team Leader, will be responsible for providing management and technical assistance in the day to day implementation of EngenderHealth supported program/project, particularly in responding to the SRHR needs of people living in selected IDP camps, that include Care for SGBV survivors, Comprehensive Contraceptive (CC), BEmONC, Comprehensive Abortion Care (CAC) and other reproductive health services.
The Program Officer will be primarily responsible for ensuring the achievement of specific project deliverables and targets related to the above-mentioned SRHR services in selected IDP camps. The officer is expected to carryout routine activity planning and implementation of filed level activities; coordinate and monitor/supervise timely implementation of program/project activities under his/her custody. He/She will be responsible for organizing and facilitating trainings, conducting regular site visits, and provide technical assistance including coaching to health care providers working in public health facilities and partners. He/She will assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual reports to the country office, regional health bureau, Regional PHEM and other stakeholders as deemed necessary.
