The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization with over 60 years of experience in helping to create a safer and more dignified life for displacement-affected populations. NRC advocates for the rights of displaced populations and offers assistance with, Shelter, Education, Livelihood and Food Security (LFS), Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) and Protection.
NRC has been operating in Ethiopia since 2011 in response to influx of Somali refugees to the country and have offices in Addiss Ababa, Dollo, Gambela, Jijiga, Shire, Assossa and Bule Hora focusing on all the core competencies.
NRC will implement EHF-UN OCHA funded project in siti zone for wash programme in the coming six months where There will be two Hydrological investigation sites
The objective of this assignment is to locate suitable aquifers, and to recommend suitable sites with the highest probability of success for drilling boreholes to abstract groundwater for human and animal consumption.
