Chemonics International seeks experienced professionals for the USAID-funded Global Health Supply Chain-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project. GHSC-PSM Ethiopia will serve as the primary vehicle through which USAID will procure and furnish health commodities, provide technical assistance to improve the country’s management of the supply chain and collaborate with key international stakeholders to support global and local health initiatives.
Background
The purpose of the GHSC-PSM program is to ensure uninterrupted supplies of health commodities in support of United States Government -funded public health initiatives around the world. At the country level, GHSC-PSM supports country strategies and priorities that fall under the following three project objectives:
The project planned to conduct data quality assessment (DQA) in collaboration with the Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals Supply Agency (EPSA), and the Ministry of Health (MOH) to identify areas for improving the supply chain data quality assurance and logistics management information systems.
Overall Scope of Work
Period of performance and Assignment Areas: -
The period for data quality survey will be from August 25 to September 8, 2020, at selected health facilities and EPSA branches. The data collectors will take orientation prior to data collection.
A total of 24 data collectors will be enrolled in the DQA. Data will be collected from more than 100 health facilities and 15 EPSA branches organized into 12 groups. Travel and actual data collection dates will be determined based on numbers and remoteness of health facilities.
