Job Requirement
· Ensure day to day accounting activities of the country office; make a transaction, collect the relevant and necessary documents for each payment, make a daily scan each payment documents, filling the finance documents based on classification
· Categorize payments clearly and precisely under the appropriate expenditure codes of respective projects;
· Prepare vouchers, cheques, CPOs, Transfer letters;
· Provide ledgers and other relevant financial documents to the project documentation;
Collect monthly financial report and support documents from filed/project office, verify the documents and then post to the system and fill it in the project financial folders
· Prepare a bank and cash reconciliation regularly;
· Prepare all the documents requested for audit;
· Control and follow up each project accounts and receive and check bank and cash reconciliation from field offices;
· Check the quality of invoices and payment documents after payments are made according to the procurement procedures;
· create a good and smooth relationships with banks, suppliers and local authorities;
· Prepare tax (IT, WHT, pension) computations as per the schedule and effect payment to the concerned tax authority office regularly;
· Perform additional position-related tasks assigned to him/her by Country Administrator.
· MA in Accounting or related field
· A minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience. Experience in an international NGO and managing large budget programs funded by international donors is preferable.

· Fluent in English and Amharic;
· knowledge of Ethiopian accounting, taxation and labor rules/regulation;
· Relevant experience in Accounting, project budget management;
· Relevant experience in using accounting software;
· Relevant experience in procurement procedures;
· Organizational and multi-tasking skills;
· Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and other related relevant Programs to the finance department;
· Highly motivated and able to work independently;
· Honesty and discretion;
· Strong interpersonal and communication skill;
· Planning and prioritizing skills;
· Willing to travel to project site as per need and plan of the organization
