1. Recruiting project beneficiaries in collaboration with Project Managers
2. Provide BCC and life skills interventions such as Life skills, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) on gender based violence, HIV, SRH, violence and COVID 19
3. Provide parenting training for parents
4. Provide psychosocial support to children to prepare them for reintegration.
5. Provide counselling and therapeutic interventions for the children
6. Provide training Life Skills training for the children at the Lighthouse
7. Participate in regular child care reviews to assess the progress of children through the Hope for Justice programmes
8. Travel to rural areas to reunify children with their families and follow them up
9. Provide families during the reunification process with training in effective parenting and child protection as well as emotional/psycho-social support to care for their children within the family.
10. Provide families with IGA grant and small business skills training to strengthen the families’ economic stability if necessary.
11. Provide older children who growing in independence and learning skills with support to manage their own lives independently
12. Conduct awareness raising in the community about dangers of domestic work, trafficking, child labor
13. Keep good, accurate and confidential records of all counselling sessions
14. Make appropriate professional referrals for children who require psychiatric assessment/treatment
15. Implement all project activities according to Hope for Justice work policies
16. Work closely with government officials, community leaders and project partners to ensure the best outcomes are achieved
17. Complete any other assessments of children/families as requested by Country Programmes Director
18. Assist in timely submission of quarterly, semi-annual and final reports for donors and government.
19. Maintain proper documentation of the project documents and reports.
20. Participates in site visits as necessary and facilitate logistical support for trips
21. Ensure monthly reports of activities are sent to MEL team
Child Safeguarding
1. Maintain policies, procedures and systems that provide the requisite safeguarding measures for children accessing our services in collaboration with the Country DCPO.
General

3. Undertake any other duties, as appropriate to the post, as delegated by Project Manager
4. Represent the organization in different review meeting, workshop and network meetings.
· BA in Social work or Psychology
· At least 3 years’ experience working in a senior position

· Computer literacy in all Microsoft Office functions
· Ability to write accurate, concise and informative reports
· Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills,
· Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written are required
· Able to work with youth from all backgrounds
