The Frankfurt Zoological Society (FZS) is an international conservation organization based in Germany and registered in Ethiopia. In Ethiopia, FZS focusses on the Bale Mountains, supporting the Ethiopian Government (Ethiopian Wildlife Conservation Authority (EWCA)) and local communities in conserving Africa’s largest tract of Afroalpine habitat on the continent.

General Description of the Job
The job holder will be based at the FZS office in the headquarters of the Bale Mountains National Park, located in Dinsho in Bale Zone of the Oromia Region. She/he will be expected to process expenditure documentation to support the effective financial administration of project activities in and around Bale Mountains National Park.
The work will include overseeing procurement processes at field level in adherence with donor, government and FZS guidelines, take a lead in managing cash advances to staff and their timely settlement; preparing contracts at project level; preparing timely financial reports for the FZS head office in Addis and managing staff under his/her supervision, and other duties as assigned by the project manager.
Key Job Requirements: BA degree in Accounting with a minimum five years’ work experience in finance and administration preferably in NGOs. Good English language skills (both written and oral), excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office, and skills on financial accounting packages is desirable. Knowledge of local language is desireable.
