ILu Women and Children Integrated Development Association (IWCIDA)
IWCIDA is a nationally operating, nongovernmental and not for profit organization established in the year 2004 with the certificate and license number, 0107. It is devoted to bring about developmental changes in its operational localities in collaboration with indigenous local community and government bodies, as well as, international and national agencies committed to reduce poverty. As part of its cause accomplishment IWCIDA, in collaboration with Care Ethiopia, is planning to implement a project titled “She Thrives” in three in two woredas of ILu Ababor zone (Yayo and Bilo Nopha) and a woreda of Buno Bedelle zone (Chora). Henceforth, ILu would like hire qualified professional on the following positions.
Job Summary
The Facilitator for Empowerment provides technical and organisational support to She Thrives project operational area at the local level and plays a facilitation role in the community. S/he builds the capacities of the target adolescent girls and community. In addition, s/he promotes community transformation through awareness creation; sharing best practices; facliating group discussions, providing information, collecting data using different apparatus and providing reports. S/he supports adolescent and adult empowerment with the objective of reducing child labor through collective action, solidarity, social inclusion, and gender equity. S/he facilitates and encourages active participation of targeted individuals and communities in different organized groups and at HH level through implementing project activities to address child labor. The Facilitator for Empowerment establishes and maintains a close working relationship with communities, child labor committee’s and other community structure at her/his working area. Furthermore, S/he is expected to work closely with kebele and village level task force leaders, local government Health Extension Workers (HEWs), development agents and Woreda structure to ensure that project messages are disseminated and understood at all levels. The Facilitator for Empowerment prepares and submits monthly and quarterly reports to Woreda Social Support and Accountability Officer to report on progress with all field-level project activities.

CONTACTS/KEY RELATIONSHIPS
The Facilitator for Empowerment is expected to establish an open relationship with the community, government counterparts and community-based organizations, as well as with supervisors, project managers, and other staffs.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Facilitator for Empowerment lives in the community. S/he travels long distances on foot (50%) and stands for about 30% of the training sessions.Required No:- 8
