Core tasks / Deliverables
To organize, execute and validate all projects, modifications required on electrical installations.
To eensure all after care and maintenance on electrical installations is properly organized and certified. (lightning protection, UPS, drawing management, earthing measurements etc)
To support with troubleshooting and support to (senior) shift technicians, in case of problems.
Contract management of all contract regarding electrical maintenance (e.g. IPP plant, earthing measurement etc)
High voltage system responsible
Organize safe and effective start up and shut down of the brewery in case of power disruptions.
Electrical drawing management end responsible.
assess, train and/or organize training for electricians, shift technicians, dayshift technicians, operators with regard to electrical work.
assess shift technicians performance with regards to solving electrical issues.
Article manager for all electrical components required in stores.
Organize the electrical workshop
Ensure all electrical repairable components are effectively repaired and controlled
Organize all required calibrations on the production instrumentation according to the maintenance plans and unplanned
Provide input on the breweries calibration plans.
Organize the automation workshop
Ensure all automation related repairable components are effectively repaired and controlled
Organize all required automation maintenance is done effectively
Accountable for version management of software of production facilities
To direct, to develop and to support the personnel reporting to him. This includes the following:
To direct, coordinate, plan and evaluate technician activities and performance.
To ensure uniform establishment of roles and responsibilities.
To coach and to appraise personnel, to hold performance interviews.
To initiate training courses/training plans.
To ensure optimum availability of personnel, both in the medium and the long term.
To ensure the availability of all required specialisms by drawing on the departments’ own personnel or by hiring in third parties.
After consultation with the department managers and jobplanners, to draw up weekly and monthly maintenance planning in respect of the deployment of personnel.
To chair the team consultation and to ensure the execution of the ensuing decisions and activities.
To ensure adequate communication within the department and with principals.
To provide direction and to develop professional knowledge within the team.
Evaluation of technicians’ and third parties’ performance.
To contribute to the maintenance policy of Production. This includes the following:
To draw up instructions and procedures in respect of the handling of work orders, from request up to and including execution and settlement in CMMS and ensure the complete process is executed effectively.
To optimise the Maintenance Group workforce and that of the group of shift technicians. This includes the following:
To optimise maintenance activities.
To effectively and efficiently deploy the maintenance personnel reporting to him.
Ensure all work is executed based on priorities, to manage the backlog of maintenance
If required organize 3rd party services to assist in maintenance execution
To (co-)direct the development of professional technical knowledge within Production, particularly among the operators.

Specific training and/or experience
Technical University - Electrical Engineering, - Control Engineering, - Process Engineering, - Energy Engineering or equivalent.
At least 3 years’ experience in a relevant position in process automation in a production environment.
