USAID Transform WASH is a six-year activity awaMarrded to PSI and Consortium partners SNV, IRC and Plan International (‘the Consortium’) to test and develop market-based models that will increase demand for and supply of quality, affordable WASH products and services. Through development and testing of scalable and replicable business models, the activity supports and increases capacity of the Government of Ethiopia’s (GoE) One WASH National Program (OWNP) to increase use of improved WASH products and services.
Consultancy Objective
The purpose of the assignment is to consolidate a comprehensive training module that can provide guidance for entrepreneurs to engage and thrive in WASH related business. The training facilitators guide is intended to support BDS providers like TVET provide a tailored training in a, clear and participatory manner for entrepreneurs engaged in WASH business.
The training modules will serve as a guide for local government in providing business and market development support for new organized or existing WASH enterprises.
The training facilitators guide will be included in the curriculum of TVETs and/or BDS providers business and market trainings and formal business education programs.
The Assignment will be undertaken by an international consulting firm with sound experience in conducting similar assignments in developing countries, preferably in Africa/ Ethiopia. The firm should have a team consists of multidisciplinary international and national consultants with the following key qualification and field of expertise:
