The rationale of the consultancy
In times of climate change, agriculture-dependent communities face seed shortages leading to profound food insecurity. Often, resource-poor small-scale farmers face challenges in getting seed on time. The challenge is not only getting seeds timely but also getting various seed varieties adaptive to changing weather conditions.
Hence, BftW would like to invite qualified and interested professionals to render consultancy service for its partners on a rights-based approach to food and nutrition security by maintaining agro-biodiversity concepts, especially, promotion of farmer's right to organic seed and seed security to its partner organizations in Ethiopia.
