Background:
The Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) is an International Catholic Organization and the work of the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits). JRS was founded on 14th November 1980 in Rome, Italy. Over the years, the work of JRS has expanded globally to incorporate the ever-changing needs of refugees, internally displaced persons, migrants and other forcibly displaced persons. The JRS-Ethiopia was established in 1982 to assist thousands of displaced people driven from their homes by political unrest and natural disasters. Currently JRS Ethiopia operates in Addis Ababa, Dollo Ado area in Somali region and Mai-Aini and Adi-Harush refugee camps in Tigray.
JRS Ethiopia wants to hire qualified and competent Emergency and Psychosocial Coordinator based in its Refugee Community Centre Project Office in Addis Ababa. The position holder will be responsible for coordinating all emergency and psychosocial activities of Refugee Community Center (RCC) project under supervision of the Project Director. He/she will report to RCC project director.
