Lutheran World Federation World Service Ethiopia is a registered foreign charity which has been operating in Ethiopia since 1973 implementing various development and humanitarian projects in different parts of Ethiopia. LWF Ethiopia works closely with the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus (EECMY), the Ethiopian Government, UN organizations and other funding partners. Its thematic areas include promotion of food security and sustainable livelihood, sustainable natural resources management, emergency preparedness, response and rehabilitation, and capacity building. Duties and Responsibilities of the Position Holder
The position is responsible to oversee implementation of livelihoods and capacity building activities. Facilitate exchange of information compilation data and reports, provision of technical training to beneficiaries and local government staffs. In consultation with the project coordinator and other officer’s review project work plans and activity budget for better response for the need of the project.
Masters/Bachelor Degree in Plant Science, Economics, Horticulture, Rural Development, Natural Resource Management, Agronomy and other related fields with Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience for Masters and 4 years relevant experience for Bachelor Degree.
