Duties & Responsibilities
· Plan, edit and produce content for a variety of internal and external communication channels (intranet, website, newsletter, face-to-face and virtual meetings)
· Develop, write and edit marketing and communications materials, including press releases, website posts and social media content
· Develop stories about the company’s activities & promote through appropriate social medias
· Track analytics and create reports detailing successes and failures of communications campaigns
· Ensure that all communications and marketing material aligns with Hilina’s brand standards
· Maintain digital media archives including photos and videos
· Work with staff members & managers to conceptualize and implement communications strategies and campaigns
· Respond to media inquiries and perform media outreach to achieve brand placement in publications
· Give communication advice and support to managers
· Ensure that CSR and other projects are successfully supported and communicated to staff and key external stakeholders
· Facilitate company level meetings and ensure the proper usage of ICT
· Prepare periodic and timely reports
· Perform other related tasks
Requirements
Education
· Bachelor’s Degree in Information communication Technology, Journalism, Communications or any other related field.
Experience
· 2+ years prior experience in a communications role
· Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is an asset
Other requirements
· Knowledge of Digital Marketing for corporate communication
· Understand the best practices of main social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, etc
· Must possess exceptional writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content
· Strong communicator who works well independently and with a team
· Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
· Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is an asset
· Understanding of communications, public relations and marketing best practices
· Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication efforts
· Must be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal direction
