This Opportunity:
Palladium seeks an experienced Technical Director– RMNCAH-N & Community Engagement (Technical Director) for the anticipated USAID/Ethiopia activity focused on achieving better health and nutrition outcomes through improved community engagement and ownership of health and strengthened social accountability systems. The activity aims to improve individual and community knowledge and understanding of their own health rights, available services, and fee and delivery structures to make informed decisions in managing their own health. In addition, the activity will build the capacity of non-state actors (NSAs) including but not limited to private organizations, faith-based organizations (FBO), community-based organizations (CBOs), civil society organizations (CSOs), and or other formal and informal community platforms, to collectively advocate for more transparent and responsive health services on behalf of individuals, families and communities accessing care.
Reporting to the Chief of Party (COP), the Technical Director is responsible for all aspects of the technical activities and services. S/he will serve as RMNCAH-N / Community Engagement technical subject matter expert,
oversee the technical teams and partners, and support the monitoring and evaluation teams’ daily operations. S/he will ensure effective coordination with key stakeholders, including government, NSAs, CSOs, CBOs, FBOs, and other community platforms. Responsibilities include leading technical design and implementation, operationalization of program standards, systematic monitoring of program results against targets and work plans and employing data for decision-making and course correction. The Technical Director is a senior leadership and key personnel position. This position is contingent upon award.
