Scope of Role
We are looking for an IT Expert who will be responsible for administering the day-to-day activity such as maintaining, networking, system configuration, and administering, user support, and documentation of our company's computer technology environment. Your primary duties will include maintenance of computer networks, hardware, software, and other related systems, performing disaster recovery operations, protecting (data, software, and hardware) from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary. You will also be working closely with our end users (stakeholders, Employees, etc…) of our technology environment to identify potential issues and fix existing problems.
The IT Expert we need has to be able to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure, able to maintain hardware and software existing in the company and the future expansions. You will be part of the IT department team that is responsible for designing and developing a scalable, maintainable, highly available technology environment that meets business objectives and service-level agreements between a service provider and a client.
An IT Expert's requirements include essential skills in the design, planning, implementation, and monitoring of a computer network that supports wireless network services, video, data, and voice.
Purpose of Role
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities;
Performance · Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS), · IT Expert requirements include being able to work with a variety of network types such as: |
Intranets, Extranets, · Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations, · Configuring and maintaining Active-Directory, · Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability, · Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning, · Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues, · Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure, · Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team, · Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution, · Administer the security of data, hardware, and system of the company Management · Leads data management across the firm, · Define and develop best business practices and report the progress in the network and everything related to IT, · Serves as an in-house management consultant – providing insights and recommendations to optimize operations across the firm, · Provides mentorship and coaching to junior team members and supports career and skills development, · Train users employees/users on newly added feature bases and when requested or noticed the knowledge gap, |
