Job Summary
Pastoralist Concern (PC) and its partners, has been granted the project which will guarantee access to child protection services sensitive to gender and age, to services in response to Sexual and Gender based Violence and to risk mitigation measures through the coverage of basic needs of the population displaced by the effects of drought and host communities. The GBV Prevention officer will oversee the overall day to day GBV issues and response interventions, including case management/psychosocial support, community mobilization for GBV concerns, capacity building and coordination with other sectors and actors in Awber and Wuchale woredas of Somali region.
Job Description:
Management Location: Jigjiga field office with frequent travel to AWBER and Wuchale woredas
Career Level: Mid-Level (3-5 years’ experience)
Employment Type: Temporary with possible extension
