Objectives and Scope of the Conflict and Peacebuilding Lead

The Lead will be responsible for the Conflict and Peacebuilding thematic area of CSSP2 programme. He/She will provide strategic advice to SMT concerning conflict sensitivity programming with specific peace outcomes throughout the intervention regions, including: (i) the identification of possible conflict sensitivity risks and plausible contributions to peace through CSSP2 programming (ii) the provision of guidance on the level of ambition CSOs in the conflict affected regions could aspire to contribute to peace through CSSP2 program; and (iii) engagement with relevant stakeholders in the conflict affected regions, to help clarify CSSP2’s position and provide advice on how to improve engagement and collaboration in these regions. He/She will closely work with Humanitarian and GBV Advisors of the program. The following are detail responsibilities of the Conflict and peacebuilding Lead.
