The Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP) in Ethiopia is conducting an implementation research project with the technical and financial support of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The goal of the implementation research project is to develop and test the efficacy and acceptability of an intervention to optimize uptake and adherence to Iron and Folic Acid (IFA) Supplementation among pregnant women and adolescent girls in Ethiopia. As part of this effort, CCP is planning to conduct qualitative research that will inform the Human-Centred Design process. CCP is therefore looking for short-term eight qualitative data collectors who will conduct group and individual interviews in the Sedie woreda of the Amhara region and the Kindo-Koyisha woreda of the SNNP regions.
Proposed Scope of Work:
Participated in the data collectors training organized by CCP
Conduct focus group and individual interviews
Prepare a brief report of summary findings & submit it to CCP Research, Monitoring and Evaluation unit
Present summary findings in a workshop (as needed), which will be organized by CCP
Deliverables:
Qualitative data from group and individual interviews with English language transcriptions
Brief report of summary findings and insight statements from each interview
Duration of consultancy services: maximum of 15 days from December 10, 2022

At least three qualitative data collection, analysis and report writing experiences in health and nutrition research
