Global Communities
Global Communities, formerly known as Project Concern International (PCI), is an international non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing health, ending hunger, overcoming hardship, and advance women and girls around the world.
PCI has been working in Ethiopia since 2005 and now merged with Global Communities. The organization secured a funding from US Agency for International Development (USAID) in Ethiopia for its project Resilience in Pastoralist Areas – South (RIPA-South) that will improve resilience to enhance food security and inclusive economic growth for lowland pastoral communities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The IT Officer provides technical support for the administrative and program staff in all that pertains to internet/intranet and communication technology devices used in the office. S/he identifies and resolves technical problems, analyzes systems’ requirements, and assist in defining organization’s scope, requirements, and deliverables. The IT Officer is based in Addis Ababa and reports directly to Director of Finance and Operations.
