Aybar Engineering PLC is an innovative company, headquarters in Addis Ababa, established to develop new and improved agricultural machinery for use mostly by smallholder farmers. The company has invented a number of agricultural machineries, some of which have already been evaluated and distributed to farmers while others are planned to be introduced to farmers. Our company is seeking qualified Finance Manager for a Research and Innovation Systems for Africa (RISA) funded project titled “Linking an innovative company with a public research institute and farmers’. The project will be undertaken in Oromia and Amhara regional administrations. The project includes research on the company’s innovations as well as demonstration to farmers by selected unemployed rural youth.
Job description
We are looking for a finance manager to perform and coordinate financial duties within our organization. The finance manager’s responsibilities include managing the overall financial activities, preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, and assisting with audit preparations The candidate should have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills. She/he should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little or no supervision and perform under pressure. The candidate should have participated in all the trainings offered by the Ethiopian Revenues over the last few years pertinent to online applications of accounting related activities.
